Clip go the shears boys…When the shearing season comes around, you want to protect your employees and animals and make them as comfortable as possible. The right shearing shed configuration can improve your productivity and bottom line.
Shed Alliance offers durable and sturdy steel frame shearing sheds with insulation and ventilation options to help manage the harsh Australian climate and improve working conditions. Multiple door and access options give you an opportunity to design your workflows for maximum throughput.
We’re ShedSafe accredited by the independent Australian Steel Institute giving you peace of mind that your new shearing shed will meet stringent building codes and Australian design and engineering standards. ShedTech design software, allows us to incorporate your configuration requirements with individual site terrain and environmental conditions to ensure the structure will withstand wind and weather extremes.
We only use Australian BlueScope galvanised steel for our sturdy frames, and team them up with a choice of ZINCALUME® or the full range of COLORBOND® colours for cladding and raingoods. With several different roof profiles and multiple layouts, you have an enormous amount of flexibility over the final structure. All BlueScope steel products come with standard warranties up to 15 years.
Your shearing shed comes in kit form with a pre-punched frame and components for easy construction. A comprehensive assembly manual allows you to erect the shed yourself or contract with your preferred builder if you don’t have the tools, skills or time. We’d be happy to connect you with our network of trusted local tradespeople and manage the project from start to finish if you need.
Once you have the shearing shed assembled, you can consult with a specialist shearing supplier for your internal pens, gates and shearing equipment to maximise operator and animal safety along with the efficiency of the shearing process.
